Cut and colour, 2023
30 x 40 cm
coloured pencil and flock on cotton
My work is about the joy of intuitive making. I heavily focus on design and aesthetics, by embracing “superficial” elements of making in my practice, I have learnt that prioritizing the visual allows me to tap into an un-articulatable language of colour, gesture, shape and direction, particularly to do with the material qualities of drawing.
