Artist Statement

Women are always in the center of my art.

Their pain, loneliness, social rejection and untold stories are the main patterns to bond them. I use mostly few images, dark colors to convey their destructive feelings. Same time, I always leave room for the hope & willingness for those women to grow and heal themselves.

Also, often I question myself what is love? Is it punishment or? Do we have limits in our passion & desires? Those contradictions, dual questions & answers inspire me to create dialogue with people that are not fully capable of expressing their elaborate & ambiguous feelings.

I was born in 1985, when Mongolia was in profound transition from communism into democracy. The change brought severe wounds in the society from alcoholism to unemployment and relevant psychological disorders rooted deeply in people's minds. That is why I am still continuing to narrate those pains and feelings in my art.

Whenever I find empty space in old notebooks, I liked to draw things I like or things that bothered me from a very young age. Being in that state brought me happiness or sadness in my heart and peace in my soul. This is still going on…
